The Kirov Region's Rospotrebnadzor has summarized the results of the summer health campaign of 2026. During the season, supervisory activities covered 461 institutions, where more than 50,000 children and adolescents rested.
The main indicator of the effectiveness of summer recreation is the health improvement effect. A pronounced health improvement effect from summer recreation was noted in 92.7% of children.
The opening of camps and arrivals were conducted with the presence of sanitary-epidemiological conclusions confirming the compliance of institutions with sanitary norms and rules.
Anti-tick and deratization treatments were carried out in the territories of children's camps, followed by entomological monitoring of the effectiveness of acaricidal treatments. These measures are aimed at preventing natural focal infections.
During the campaign, the department's employees conducted preventive visits and planned inspections in accordance with Federal Law No. 248-FZ of July 31, 2020, "On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation."
Planned inspections were conducted using laboratory research methods. Specialists from the Federal Budgetary Institution "Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Kirov Region" and its branches were involved in the work. During inspections, samples of drinking water were taken for microbiological and sanitary-chemical indicators, water from pools and reservoirs was tested for sanitary-chemical, microbiological, and parasitological indicators, soil was analyzed for parasitological indicators, as well as raw materials and finished products for microbiological and sanitary-chemical indicators: dairy products for fatty acid composition and antibiotic content, culinary products for the degree of heat treatment, finished products for energy value, products for the presence of GMOs, and vegetable products for pesticide and nitrate content.
To prevent infectious diseases and food poisoning, the department conducted daily operational monitoring of the health status of children in stationary camps and monitored compliance with temperature conditions in residential buildings.
As a result of the campaign, proposals were sent to legal entities engaged in activities in stationary summer health institutions, as well as to the interdepartmental working group on issues of organizing recreation and health improvement for children, regarding ensuring compliance with sanitary legislation in preparation for the summer health campaign of 2027.
Ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of children in summer health institutions during the 2026 campaign was a priority direction of the department's activities.
