Bastrikin demanded to address the emergency house in Kirov, where former orphans live.
The house has been in an unsuitable condition for a long time. Previously, the apartments were provided to orphans and children left without parental care. Due to the wear of engineering systems, the basement and the adjacent territory are regularly flooded. Water, in particular, gets onto the playground. This leads to violations of sanitary norms and, as noted, may threaten the foundation of the building. Last year, the house was declared emergency. However, its resettlement is planned no earlier than 2030. Residents' appeals to various authorities, according to available information, have not yielded results. After publications, the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region organized a procedural check. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the acting head of the regional Investigative Committee, Sultan Orazayev, to report on the progress and results of the check, as well as on the work to protect the rights of residents of the emergency house. The execution of the instruction has been put under control in the central office of the Investigative Committee. We wrote earlier about the situation with the house. Read more details here.
