Both the quantity and quality: VyatGU reported a 100% fulfillment of the budget admission plan and an increase in the passing score.
At Vyatka State University, the first results of the admission campaign-2026 have been summarized. All budget places for bachelor's, specialist, master's, doctoral programs, as well as for the college, are filled. There is no need for an additional recruitment. This was reported by the responsible secretary of the admissions committee of VyatGU, Ilya Gubin.
"We are pleased not only with the one hundred percent fulfillment of the budget recruitment plan but also with its quality. The passing scores for engineering, economics, law, humanities, and other fields of study have significantly increased," noted Ilya Vyacheslavovich.
There was also great interest in the field of "Pedagogical Education" - there, an increase in the passing score was also recorded. All this clearly indicates that the largest university in the Kirov region remains a priority for many applicants from our and other regions. By the way, this year the number of applications from applicants increased by 30 percent compared to last year's admission.
In addition, students have been recruited as part of the targeted admission. This format will continue to develop in the future.
We also note the interest of applicants in the federal project "Professionalism," for which admission to four specialties has been successfully carried out at VyatGU college.
Thus, admission-2026 at VyatGU means fully filled budget places and strong applicants, which means first-year students. We hope that each of them will be able to fully realize themselves from the very start of their studies. The university has everything necessary for this.
More detailed results of the admission campaign will be summarized in the fall and published on the website of Vyatka State University.
