An online acquaintance resulted in a Kirov resident losing 28,000 rubles.
A resident of Kirov chose a performance and seats, after which he tried to pay for tickets costing 7 thousand rubles via QR code. However, instead of tickets, he received an error message and a suggestion to contact "customer support." There, the young man was informed that there had been a failure and that to get a refund, he needed to transfer the same amount again. He sent another 7 thousand rubles but again received a message about a failed payment. Then the "specialists" demanded that he transfer 14 thousand rubles. After another transfer, the Kirov resident realized he was dealing with scammers and contacted the police. In total, he lost 28 thousand rubles. Law enforcement is currently identifying the individuals involved in the theft of money. The police remind that when shopping online, one should only use verified websites. If you are asked to transfer money again for a refund, this is one of the signs of a fraudulent scheme.
