The Kirov construction company discussed its work on a project in Venezuela at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia.

      For the regional company, participation in the project in Venezuela marks a new stage of development: builders from Kirov will have to work outside of Russia within the framework of a large industrial project supervised by "Rostec" and "Rosoboronexport."

      In this regard, the company has begun to establish interaction with federal structures and organizations that have expertise in the field of international economic cooperation.

      A working meeting took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia in Moscow. The negotiations were attended by Vadim Fedotov, a representative of the Kirov construction company, Ilya Nesterov, the director of the Department of External Relations of the CCI of Russia, Sergey Goreslavsky, the chairman of the Russian-Venezuelan Business Council and senior vice president of Eurofinance Mosnarbank, and Alexander Efremov, the chairman of the Council for Economic Cooperation of Southeast Asian and Latin American countries.

      The main topic of the meeting was the practical issues of the Russian construction company's operations in Venezuela.

      Participants discussed interaction with Russian and Venezuelan structures, regulatory and organizational procedures, as well as logistics and project support issues.

      Particular attention was paid to the opportunities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian-Venezuelan Business Council in supporting Russian companies implementing projects in Venezuela.

      For ROST, this project will be the first experience of participating in the construction of a facility of such scale outside of Russia. The company notes that entering the international direction requires not only construction competencies but also preliminary organizational work, understanding of local legislation, and building sustainable working contacts.

      The next step will be to continue consultations on project implementation issues, including with representatives from the Venezuelan side.

      The participation of the regional company in the international project simultaneously opens up the opportunity to gain new competencies and experience working in a different regulatory and business environment. The experience gained can later be used in the implementation of construction projects in the Kirov region.
