The threat of a drone attack has been lifted in the Kirov region.
At 11:28, residents of Kirov received a message on their mobile devices from emergency services about the cancellation of the threat of drone attacks in the Kirov region. The notification included the phone number 112.
This message was the second of the day. Earlier in the morning, around 7:30, residents received an SMS about an air threat. In the interval between these notifications, at 8:47, the press service of the Kirov region government announced the cancellation of a mass charging event in Gagarin Park and a ceremonial event in Alexander Nevsky Square, planned in honor of the Day of the State Flag of Russia.
At 9:22, a summary was published on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, stating that during the past night, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 457 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones. The list of regions where the attack was repelled included the Kirov region.
