Migrants were checked at the Konevsky market.
On August 17, a scheduled document check of citizens took place on the central streets of Kirov, as well as at the Konevsky market. According to the legislation, men of conscription age who have obtained Russian citizenship are required to register for military service. This must be done within two weeks from the moment of taking the oath — even before receiving a Russian passport. However, as practice shows, many newly minted citizens are in no hurry to fulfill this obligation. Such interdepartmental raids are conducted across the country. In the Kirov region, markets, warehouses, retail outlets, and construction sites are being checked — all locations where former migrants who have received a Russian passport work. As a result of today's inspection at the Konevsky market, it was established that individuals who had previously violated migration legislation are now registered for military service at the military enlistment offices in Kirov. This year, dozens of violators have been identified in the Kirov region. All of them have been registered for military service, migration legislation has been brought into compliance, and the violators have been held administratively accountable.
