In Phalenki, a man beat an acquaintance to death.

      In the Kirov region, a resident of the village of Falenki will be tried. He is accused under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of serious harm to health resulting in death through negligence).

      As reported by the Investigative Committee, from May 31 to June 1, a group was drinking in one of the houses in the village. At some point, the hostess and a guest began to argue out of jealousy. The man struck the woman multiple times on the head and body. She fell, hitting her head on the corner of a wardrobe.

      The victim was taken to the hospital; however, despite the doctors' efforts, she passed away on July 18. As for the man, he was taken into custody. He admitted his guilt and expressed remorse.
