In Kirov, storm drains have been repaired on several streets.

      As part of the municipal contract for the maintenance of the street and road network, contractors continue to put the city's stormwater drainage system in order. This week, specialists repaired the manholes on Spasskaya, Solnechnaya, Kurskaya, Lebyazhskaya streets, and on Oktyabrsky Avenue. The stormwater drainage system was also cleaned on Sutyurin Street and Shinnikov Street. In the Sannikovy settlement, repairs began on a culvert. The landscaping department reported that the work schedule is drawn up taking into account residents' requests. Contractors are primarily directed to areas with the highest number of complaints. In addition to repairing the stormwater drainage itself, specialists are addressing defects in the road surface near the manholes. Earlier, the Kirov administration informed Newsler.ru that during heavy rains, the existing stormwater drainage system does not always cope with the volume of water. The city hall explained this by the insufficient capacity of the networks.
