The non-profit organization "City of Sports" signed an agreement to support sports infrastructure in Kirovo-Chepetsk.
The signatures under the document were put by the head of the city administration Igor Gagarin, the director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "City of Sports," deputy of the Legislative Assembly Alexander Ivanishin, as well as the director of the sports school "Olympia" Oksana Safronenkova.
"Uralchem," represented by the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "City of Sports," undertakes the obligation to allocate 500,000 rubles for the flooding of two outdoor hockey rinks "Lidinka" and "By the Bridge" in the winter season of 2026-2027, as well as 220,000 rubles for the repair of the flooding machine. Previously, the center had already allocated 235,000 rubles for the installation of lighting at the rink near the sports pavilion "Lidinka."
Alexander Ivanishin, director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Center for Support and Development of Sports in the Region 'City of Sports'," deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Kirov Oblast:
— The signing of the agreement is a significant step towards ensuring that the sports infrastructure of the city is accessible, safe, and of high quality for all residents. Hockey is a special sport for Kirovo-Chepetsk. It brings together a wide variety of people: professional players, amateurs, and fans. It is important that the street rinks will be under the control of the sports school, which means there will be order and quality ice available for all citizens.
Radmir Gabdullin, director of external social policy and sports of JSC "OHC 'Uralchem'":
— Supporting sports in the cities where we operate is an important part of Uralchem's social policy. It is essential for us that residents have the opportunity to engage in sports close to home, on accessible and well-prepared facilities. Kirovo-Chepetsk has strong hockey traditions, and we see great interest in this sport from the citizens. I am confident that our joint efforts with the city administration and the sports school will keep the hockey rinks in demand and create comfortable conditions for training and active recreation for children and adults.
