A grain harvesting combine caught fire in the Kirov region.

      In the last 24 hours, on August 8, five fires occurred in the Kirov region. Two of them were reported by the regional emergency management agency.

      In the village of Oktyabrsky in the Zuevsky district, a grain harvesting combine caught fire. A wheel burned, and the engine compartment was scorched over an area of 1 square meter. Seven employees of the emergency management agency and municipal fire service dealt with the fire. The presumed cause of the ignition is a malfunction of the vehicle.

      In Omutninsk, on Krevtsova Street, a private outbuilding caught fire, damaging an area of 0.5 square meters. Seven employees of the emergency management agency worked at the scene. The presumed cause is arson.
