It has become known that in the Kirov region, more than two thousand companies operate in the construction sector (as of January 1, 2026, there were 2,185). The average annual number of employees for the year 2025 was 9.4 thousand people, which is an increase of 6% over the year. As of the beginning of 2026, there were 2,814 individual entrepreneurs.
In 2025, Kirov builders commissioned 954.4 thousand square meters of total area of residential and non-residential buildings. This is 67 thousand square meters more than the previous year. 75% of them are residential buildings.
Over the past five years, 2.8 million square meters of housing (37.5 thousand apartments) have been built in our region, which is 4.2% more than in the previous five years (2016-2020).
