Wholesale trade in the Kirov region decreased by 6.4%
In the Kirov region, the index of physical volume of wholesale trade decreased in the results of January-June 2026. Compared to the same period last year, the indicator amounted to 93.6%, which means a reduction of 6.4%. This is reported by Kirovstat.
At the same time, retail trade demonstrated positive dynamics. The index of physical volume of its turnover reached 105.8% compared to the level of the first half of 2025. A similar indicator for catering enterprises increased to 102%.
The total turnover of retail trade for six months amounted to 192 billion rubles. Of this amount, 50.7% accounted for food, beverages, and tobacco products, while 49.3% was for non-food goods.
The turnover of wholesale trade reached 223.6 billion rubles. The main part of it—84.8%—was provided by organizations with the main type of activity "Wholesale trade," while 15.2% accounted for other organizations.
