The bosses were instructed to show humanity: Rosstandart approved a new GOST.
According to GOST, encouraging and supporting employee participation in the work process is more likely to ensure a sustainable result than coercion. Organizations are also advised to regularly consult with employees, share information with them, involve them in decision-making, and encourage everyone's desire to contribute to the common cause.
Furthermore, employers are recommended to clearly articulate tasks so that employees understand what exactly and why they need to perform. The document notes that it is necessary to prevent issues such as uncertainty of duties, lack of workload management, and blurred functions.
GOST also advises regularly analyzing work assignments, schedules, and job descriptions, avoiding a "machine pace" of work and unpredictable schedules.
A separate section is dedicated to relationships within the team. In particular, employers are advised to prevent bullying, social isolation, and inequality, while managers are urged not to abuse their authority and not to withhold important information from employees, as reported by "RIA Novosti."
The new national standard will come into effect on February 1, 2027.
