A 17-year-old resident of Kirov will be tried for attempting to buy drugs online.

      In Kirov, a 17-year-old local resident will stand trial, accused of attempting to illegally acquire drugs. This was reported by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region.

      According to the investigation, in April of this year, the teenager contacted an unknown person through one of the messaging apps to purchase prohibited substances for personal use. After the correspondence, he received the coordinates of stash locations and went to the specified addresses.

      Near one of the houses on Militsionnaya Street, the young man was detained by police officers. Law enforcement suspected him of involvement in the illegal drug trade.

      Later, the police checked the addresses mentioned in the correspondence and discovered narcotic substances there. According to the investigation, these were the items the teenager intended to collect.

      The investigation of the criminal case has been completed. The materials with the approved indictment have already been sent to court, where the issue of the minor's guilt will be decided.
