A State Duma deputy has questions regarding the missile strike on Kirov.
The First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Alexey Chepa, stated the need to strengthen missile detection systems after the attack on an enterprise in Kirov. He discussed this in an interview with "Lenta.ru." According to the deputy, Russian air defense systems should have detected the missile earlier if the strike was indeed carried out using the "Flamingo." However, there is currently no official confirmation that this type of missile was used against Kirov. "If this is a 'Flamingo' missile, then we should have systems that detect the launch of such missiles while still on Ukrainian territory," Chepa stated. The parliamentarian believes that such attacks are aimed at destabilizing the situation in Russia. He also emphasized the need to take retaliatory measures. It is worth noting that earlier, the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, reported a missile attack on one of Kirov's enterprises. According to the latest data, 6 people were killed, and another 26 were injured.
