"Uralchem" continues to support children's hockey in Kirovo-Chepetsk.

      On the eve of the new hockey season, the "Olymp-Arena" ice palace underwent modernization. A total of 27 million rubles from the regional budget was allocated for the installation of a new modern boarding system. "Uralchem" provided funds for painting, marking, and initial marking of the ice slab. The work carried out directly affects the safety and quality of training for young hockey players.

      The students of the "Olympia" sports school have access to the quality infrastructure of the "Olymp-Arena" ice palace: football and gym rooms, a shooting area, and comfortable changing rooms for each age group of hockey players. Young athletes are provided with sets of game jerseys (away, home) and training shirts. Classes for preschoolers are subsidized by "Uralchem," and they are given uniforms initially so they can try and decide whether they will continue training. "Uralchem" also purchased a new comfortable bus for trips to tournaments in the Volga Federal District and trips to Kirov.

      The updated ice arena was inspected by the head of the city, Sergey Zavyalov, the director of the "Olympia" hockey sports school, the deputy of the Kirovo-Chepetsk city duma, Denis Koposov, the director of the "City of Sports" non-profit organization, the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov region, Alexander Ivanishin, and the senior coach of the sports school, Ilya Davydov, who recently started working at the school.

      Ekaterina Polikarpova, head of the department of external social, youth policy, and sports of JSC "OHC Uralchem":

      We are convinced that it is in children's sports that a solid foundation for future achievements is laid. "Uralchem" is proud of every young athlete who shows initiative and a desire for victory and considers it its duty to support their endeavors. By investing in youth development, we are creating a future filled with achievements and pride in their successes.

      An important advantage of "Olympia" is free travel and accommodation for young hockey players participating in away tournaments of the Volga Federal District and support for home matches. To diversify the training process, master classes from experienced hockey players and fidgetal tournaments are regularly held. Starting this year, bonuses have been introduced for kids who show good professional growth; they receive equipment: helmets, gloves, or protective gear. All of this creates a solid foundation for skill growth and future victories.
