In Kirov, a man stabbed his partner during a quarrel.

      The investigative department for the Lenin district of Kirov has completed the investigation of a criminal case against a 28-year-old local resident. He is accused under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). According to the investigation, on the afternoon of February 16, the suspect was in an apartment on Oktyabrsky Avenue. During a quarrel with his 25-year-old cohabitant, he inflicted multiple knife wounds to her head, body, and limbs. The woman died at the scene from her injuries. Fearing punishment, the man fled, but was later apprehended by the police. The court, at the request of the investigator, chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention. The evidence collected by the investigation has been deemed sufficient. The criminal case, with an approved indictment, has been sent to court for consideration on the merits.
