"Summer Assignment": Titov gifted books to Mamaev and Bikaluk
Let us remind you that today, July 23, at the meeting of the Legislative Assembly, the deputies discussed amendments to the budget. As we wrote earlier, Albert Bikalyuk and Sergey Mamaev once again criticized how our authorities spend funds. Meanwhile, Deputy Roman Titov expressed the opinion that the government has done a tremendous job in the financial sphere. However, not everyone understands this. "At least a couple of members of the budget committee repeatedly ask the same questions, stubbornly refusing to hear the answers," he said. "Unfortunately, no explanations or clarifications from the government and colleagues help. Allow me to apply some pedagogical measures." Titov reminded that schoolchildren used to be given a list of books to read over the summer. He decided to hand out books as well, but not to children, rather to deputies Mamaev and Bikalyuk. To the former, Titov presented the work of Karl Marx, adding: "When you read this, you will understand how the economy works and realize that there is a huge difference between your views on the economy and those of Karl Marx. Perhaps you will understand the budget better." To Bikalyuk, Titov gave a book about social architecture, noting: "You ask so often what this is that I decided it would be better to gift you a book, and in it, you will read what it is." Titov expressed hope that the books would be read over the summer. He added: "If we gather in this composition, we will be able to discuss whether you have learned the lessons." Unfortunately, the camera did not capture the deputies' reaction to the book presentation. Meanwhile, those present applauded Titov, despite what seemed to us to be a humiliating nature of his presentation for the opposition. Given that Mamaev, being a member of the Communist Party, could not have failed to read the work of one of the founders of communism in his time, and Bikalyuk, speaking about social architecture, focused not on the architecture itself, but on the enormous investments in it, which he believed were absolutely unnecessary for the region.

"Summer Assignment": Titov gifted books to Mamaev and Bikaluk
The deputy allowed himself to make a small, but probably quite humiliating gift for the opposition.
