The message was received by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Verkhnekamsky" that a 48-year-old local resident was beaten in the village of Lesnoy. An investigative operational group arrived at the scene, which detained the alleged attacker. He turned out to be a 40-year-old acquaintance of the victim.
According to preliminary data from the police, the men were drinking alcoholic beverages in the apartment of a mutual acquaintance. During the feast, a domestic conflict arose between them, which escalated into a fight.
The investigation believes that the suspect inflicted numerous blows to the victim with his hands, feet, and also with an unidentified object to the head and body. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving medical assistance.
A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Verkhnekamsky" under part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Deliberate infliction of serious harm to health using an object used as a weapon").
Currently, the necessary examinations have been appointed. The suspect has been placed in custody as a preventive measure.
