Every fourth complaint from Kirov residents to Rospotrebnadzor was about apartments and garbage.

      In the two quarters of 2026, the agency received 2,441 appeals from citizens, entrepreneurs, and organizations. The majority — 1,821 (74.6%) — were related to violations of consumer rights. Another 620 (25.4%) concerned violations of sanitary and epidemiological welfare. Among the complaints about consumer rights, nearly half (45%) were related to retail trade. In second place were telecommunications services (11.6%), and in third place was the financial market (10%). Residents of Kirov also complained about household services (8%), housing and communal services (7.2%), and medical services (3.3%). In the area of sanitary legislation, the most frequent complaints were about living conditions in residential premises — 23.4% of all appeals in this block. In second place was waste collection and disposal (14.7%), and in third place was air quality (10.2%). Complaints were also received about the maintenance of territories (6.8%) and the quality of food products (6%). During this time, 378 people contacted the "hotline." Of these, 69.6% were interested in issues related to consumer rights protection, and 30.4% were concerned about the sanitary and epidemiological situation.
