Fraudsters stole money from the parents through a 14-year-old girl.
In Kirov, police are identifying the fraudsters who stole 50,000 rubles from a local resident by using her 14-year-old daughter. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the ninth grader from one of Kirov's schools had previously made acquaintances in a messenger app. Recently, strangers contacted her, introducing themselves as employees of the juvenile affairs committee and the tax service. They claimed that the teenager was communicating with Ukrainian terrorists and threatened her and her parents with searches and criminal liability. The fake employees then convinced the girl that she needed to urgently "declare her savings," otherwise the money would be confiscated as obtained through criminal means. Using her mother's phone, the schoolgirl transferred 50,000 rubles from the adult's account to the details provided by the fraudsters. The girl only told her mother about the incident a few days later. The police are currently identifying the teenager's interlocutors and the recipients of the money transfers.
