Russian hackers announced the hacking of the donation database of the organization RDK, which is banned in Russia.
Russian hackers announced the hacking of a database containing information about donations to the banned terrorist organization "Russian Volunteer Corps" (RDK)*. This was reported by "Russian Gazette" citing the Telegram channel SHOT.
According to the publication, the database allegedly contains information on approximately 3.5 million people who have donated money to the organization over the past few years. It is claimed that among them are citizens of Russia.
The transfers allegedly came from Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Kaluga, Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Smolensk, Tambov, and Tyumen regions, as well as Krasnoyarsk, Perm, and Primorsky territories.
It is claimed that the hack was carried out by the hacker group Earthimpact. According to the channel, representatives of the group intend to pass on to the FSB of Russia the information contained in the database, including personal data and details about the alleged money transfers.
Furthermore, the publication reports that the transfers were allegedly made not only from Russia but also from Poland, Estonia, Cyprus, other EU countries, and from the territory of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the RDK* is recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia and is banned. According to Russian authorities, members of the organization are involved in attacks on the border areas of the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions in 2023-2024.
