In Kirov, heat networks are being relaid on Stakhanovskaya.

      The Kirov branch of "T Plus" has begun the modernization of heating networks on Stakhanovskaya Street and in Girsov Lane. Energy workers will replace more than 600 meters of pipelines.

      As reported by the company, at the request of the city administration, the volume of work has been increased by another 160 meters. This will allow for the replacement of worn-out communications first, and then carry out major repairs of the road surface without the need to reopen the asphalt.

      The need for reconstruction is related to the high level of groundwater. Because of this, the pipes quickly became unusable: in the last five years alone, specialists have eliminated 35 damages here.

      The new pipelines will be made with polyurethane foam insulation in a polyethylene shell. This design protects the networks from corrosion and should increase the reliability of heating supply to homes and social facilities in the neighborhood.

      The work is planned to be completed by the beginning of September. During the reconstruction, residents of the nearest houses will receive hot water through temporary pipelines. Short-term outages are possible only during hydraulic tests and the connection of new networks.

      In total, in 2026, "T Plus" plans to update more than 9 kilometers of heating networks in Kirov across 14 sections of the city.

      It should be noted that the major repair of Stakhanovskaya Street, according to the terms of the contract, is to be completed by July 1, 2027.
