As reported by the head of the party's Central Executive Committee, Alexander Sidyakin, the list includes more than 600 candidates, with 57 regional groups formed. Most of them—55—are headed by secretaries of regional branches, including current governors.
Documents were also submitted to the CEC by members of the top five list: Deputy General Director of VGTRK, military correspondent Evgeny Poddubny, Chief of Staff of "Yunarmiya" Vladislav Golovin, and State Duma deputy Ekaterina Stenyakina.
The federal top five list includes Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, Evgeny Poddubny, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova, and Vladislav Golovin.
Alexander Sidyakin also noted that the party continues to collect mandates for the updated People's Program—so far, 2.5 million have been received. The candidates are participants of the preliminary voting, including participants of the Special Military Operation, Heroes of Russia, and representatives of youth organizations.
The elections to the State Duma will take place from September 18 to 20, 2026.
Recall that on July 2, the regional branch of the LDPR sent a package for nomination for the elections to the Regional Duma, and the CPRF also submitted documents to the regional election commission. On the same day, "New People" announced their list of leaders for the State Duma elections—the top three are headed by Alexey Nechayev, Vladislav Davankov, and Sardana Avksentieva, with three candidates nominated from the Kirov region: Andrey Iglin (106th district), Anna Alminova (107th district), and in the 25th district, the federal list is headed by Darya Kisilitsyna.
The regional election commission confirmed the candidate lists from the CPRF, "Fair Russia," and the LDPR at a meeting on July 3. On July 4, at the congress of "Fair Russia," it became known that the regional group of the party for the State Duma elections is headed by Kirov Olympic champion Kamil Jamaludinov.
