Boris Vesnin: "The development of Slobodskoy is the result of teamwork."

By order of the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, Boris Vesnin is overseeing the implementation of projects for the construction of sports facilities. As part of this work, the deputies visited the construction site of the future swimming pool.
The construction of the sports complex is being carried out under the federal program "Development of Physical Culture and Sports." The total funding exceeds 480 million rubles. After commissioning in 2027, the pool will become one of the largest sports facilities in the city and will expand opportunities for swimming for children and adults.
The deputies also familiarized themselves with the results of the urban embankment improvement project, which is being carried out thanks to Slobodskoy's victory in the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment. Today, the embankment is one of the most sought-after public spaces in the city.
The working program continued at school No. 14, where major repairs are ongoing as part of the national project "Youth and Children." The work is halfway completed. The deputies noted the need to increase the pace of repairs. The issue was decided to be kept under parliamentary control.
During the trip, the deputies visited the enterprise "Krasny Yakor," where they discussed production development, export potential, and staffing. The enterprise employs over 900 people, and its products are supplied to several foreign countries. The program concluded with a meeting with active residents of the city. The prospects for the development of Slobodskoy, participation in federal programs, and proposals for the People's Program of the United Russia party were discussed.
Boris Vesnin noted that Slobodskoy is developing in several directions: new social and sports facilities are being built, schools and healthcare institutions are being updated, modern public spaces are being formed, and the industrial sector is developing.
"It is important to maintain the pace of development and continue systematic teamwork together with Governor Alexander Sokolov, deputies, municipal authorities, and residents," emphasized Boris Vesnin.
