The aspen mushroom celebrates its 400th anniversary.
In Podosinovets, solemn events were held to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the settlement. The anniversary brought together residents, veterans, representatives of labor collectives, public organizations, and guests of the district. The holiday was not only an opportunity to remember the rich history of the settlement but also to highlight the positive changes that are currently taking place in the municipality. On behalf of Governor Alexander Sokolov, State Duma Deputy Boris Vesnin congratulated the residents of the settlement on the holiday. In the congratulatory address from the head of the region, it is noted that the 400th anniversary of Podosinovets is a date that unites all those who cherish the history of their small homeland, its traditions, and the memory of many generations of residents who have created and developed the settlement through their labor. The head of the region expressed gratitude to veterans, workers, representatives of public organizations, youth, and everyone who contributes to the development of Podosinovets, wishing the settlement further prosperity and its residents good health, well-being, and kindness. In his congratulations, Boris Vesnin noted: "Four hundred years is a history created by many generations of residents of Podosinovets. Today the settlement continues to develop. This is the result of significant joint work by the regional government, the municipality, the deputy corps, and the residents themselves. I am confident that many good events, new projects, and achievements lie ahead for Podosinovets." As part of the festive program, a ceremony was held to honor residents who have made significant contributions to the development of the district. Honorary certificates and letters of gratitude from the Legislative Assembly of Kirov Region were awarded to cultural workers, sports figures, library system representatives, public activists, and local government representatives. Thanks to participation in federal and regional programs, the area is changing. In recent years, the social infrastructure in Podosinovets has noticeably improved: a kindergarten, the Central District Hospital, and a secondary school have been completely renovated. Road construction is progressing — work is underway on the Kirov — Podosinovets — Luza route, and under the "Road Billion" program, 2.5 km of roads have been repaired over two years at a cost of over 40 million rubles. Public spaces are also being transformed: as part of the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" project, the improvement of the trading square has begun — it will last for two years. Plans for 2026 include the renovation of the local history museum as part of the national project "Family," the improvement of the square near the museum, and the renovation of Soviet Street and Hospital Lane.
