The contractor for the capital repair of the philharmonic was chosen without a competition.

      Today, July 1, the government reported on the renovation of the concert hall at the Vyatka Philharmonic. According to officials, the stairs and the lobby have already been put in order, the renovation of the cloakroom, ceiling, walls, and floor of the large hall has begun, as well as the renovation of restrooms and emergency exits. Authorities promised that in the fall, the updated institution would present a new concert program to the residents of Kirov. They added that the work is proceeding according to schedule.

      Meanwhile, the state procurement website reports that the Vyatka Philharmonic has had two major procurements in recent months — for the capital renovation of premises and the supply of chairs for the concert hall, both of which were conducted without a competition, meaning it is a procurement from a single supplier (contractor, performer). It is not specified who is responsible for the renovation and the chairs. The amount for the first contract is 19.83 million rubles, and for the second — 14.11 million rubles. The deadline for the renovation is until November 2026, and for the chairs — until September 2026.

      It is also worth noting that the state procurement website has published data on the development of the capital renovation project for the Philharmonic building. The contractor was also chosen without a competition. The cost of the project is 4 million rubles. The status of this procurement is "Execution," meaning the work has not yet been completed. In the "Execution Deadline" column, it states "by June 19, 2026," however, it is mentioned below about an additional agreement to change the deadlines for the completion of work.

      Earlier, in April 2026, authorities reported that the capital renovation project for the concert hall had passed state expertise. So, it is likely that the new project for 4 million rubles concerns other sections of the building.
