July in the Kirov region promises to be rainy and cool.

      According to the calculations of the CFSv2 model, in July, the amount of precipitation in the Kirov region will exceed the climatic norm by 20-30%. This means more frequent cyclones, an increase in the number of rainy days, and high humidity. At the same time, as noted by the authors of the Telegram channel "Amateur Meteorology in Kirov," a brief warming is expected at the beginning of July — it may last about a week. However, after that, the region will again fall into the so-called "cold pit": a zone of low pressure with cool and damp weather will descend into the European part of Russia. The circulation map shows that the Kirov region is located in the center of the blue zone — an area of low geopotential. This is a classic sign of cyclonic activity: frequent atmospheric fronts, rain, and temperatures below normal. Meanwhile, a powerful anticyclone is forming over Europe — it will bring a second wave of intense heat, especially to France. Hot weather will also settle in Siberia. According to the channel's authors, such a configuration — a "temperature counterphase" — may persist until almost the second decade of August, but this still requires additional confirmation.
