The city beach in Kirovo-Chepetsk will open on July 1.
The territory of the city beach has been inspected by Rospotrebnadzor and recognized as compliant with sanitary and epidemiological standards, the administration of Kirovo-Chepetsk reported.
Before opening, the beach was treated for ticks and rodents, and the riverbed was checked and cleared of debris. The contractor installed an information stand, trash bins, and a waste container, secured the boom barriers, and painted the sunshade canopies and changing cabins.
The official opening is scheduled for July 1. However, due to the recent rains, the beach area remains flooded, and the water has not yet warmed up to a comfortable temperature. With the good weather that forecasters promise in the coming days, the water will warm up quite quickly.
