As reported by Nerwsler.ru, on Tuesday, June 30, the renovated runway of the Pobedilovo airport will be "accepted." Accordingly, flights are expected to resume starting July 1, 2026.
It is noted that a flight schedule from July 1 has appeared on the Pobedilovo website. On the airlines' websites, ticket sales for flights departing from or arriving at the city of Kirov are also open.
Recall that the runway at the Kirov airport was planned to be repaired starting April 22. However, the start date for the repairs was pushed back to May 4 due to weather conditions. Officials also reported that the runway repairs would take a record short time, and the airport would reopen on June 8. However, after that, the deadline for the runway's completion was postponed first to June 20, and then to June 30.
According to the latest reports from the regional government and the regional Ministry of Transport, the repairs to the runway at Pobedilovo will indeed be completed by June 30.
