"The ambulance stood under the windows for almost an hour": a Kirov resident doubted the work of the medics.
Recently, a resident of Kirov contacted the editorial office of Newsler.ru to report on the situation with an ambulance parked in the yard of a building on Nekrasova Street. According to the man, the incident occurred on June 15 near the house on Nekrasova Street. He stated that around 06:45 he was about to leave in his car, but the ambulance blocked his way. The man claims he asked the driver to move the vehicle slightly to clear the passage. However, he said in response he heard that the crew had no intention of moving anywhere. After that, as the reader recounts, the driver turned on the flashing light, and the crew locked themselves in the vehicle. This situation caused outrage for the Kirov resident. He admits that he had always tried to justify the medical staff when he heard complaints from acquaintances about the long arrival times of ambulances. People reported that sometimes they had to wait for an hour and a half to two hours or even longer. The reasons cited were high workloads and a lack of crews. However, after what happened, the man decided to check what was actually happening in the yard. According to him, recordings from surveillance cameras showed that the ambulance arrived at the house at 05:39. The medical staff entered the building and stayed there until 06:17. After that, they returned to the vehicle and remained on site for another 42 minutes, leaving only at 06:59. This time interval raised the most questions for the Kirov resident. In his opinion, while the crew was in the yard, someone else could have been waiting for medical assistance. The regional health ministry confirmed that a call to this address was indeed recorded. The department explained that after finishing work with the patient, the staff member was completing medical documentation in the service communicator. This is a mandatory part of the job, without which the call is not considered complete. Furthermore, as clarified by the health ministry, while the crew was on site, a new call came in for the same address. The medical staff attempted to enter the building but were unable to do so. During this time, the operations department was trying to contact the caller, but there was no response. After that, the call was canceled, and the crew was released. The ministry also emphasized that for emergency medical services provided in an urgent manner, legislation does not establish strict arrival time standards.
