Peskov reported on the possible import of fuel.
Russia is negotiating with a number of foreign countries regarding possible supplies of petroleum products. This was announced by the press secretary of the president, Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, fuel imports could become one of the measures to stabilize the domestic market and reduce increased demand. At the same time, the implementation of such supplies will only be possible if agreements are reached on mutually beneficial terms. The representative of the Kremlin did not specify which countries are being considered as potential suppliers.
Peskov also noted that the situation in the fuel market is under constant control. According to him, meetings on this issue are held daily. In addition, a government working group led by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak is monitoring the situation and searching for solutions on a daily basis. This was reported by "Kommersant."
