"Impossible to watch without tears": Sokolov ordered to tidy up the center of Zuevka

      During the meeting, the head of the region, Alexander Sokolov, reported that he had asked the head of Zuevka to develop a city improvement plan and to carry out the work in 2027. "At the very least, the center needs to be done," he said. "It's impossible to look at it without tears right now."

      Sokolov instructed government officials to assist the city in developing the plan. According to him, dilapidated houses need to be demolished, and in their place, social, cultural, or sports facilities should be built (the main thing is that they should not be commercial, the governor noted). Sokolov also tasked them with addressing the Capital Repair Fund regarding why many residential buildings in Zuevka look very poor. According to him, it is clearly visible to the naked eye that they need major repairs.
