In Kirov, a large family is preparing for the birth of their sixth child among the sewage drains.
In Novovyatsk, a large family raising five children and expecting a sixth has been living in unsanitary conditions for over a year due to a leaking sewage system. The problem was reported to the regional branch of the People's Front.
According to public activists, a sewage pipe has been leaking for more than a year in house No. 11 on Ordzhonikidze Street. Due to constant flooding, the bathroom in the apartment has fallen into disrepair: the floor has sunk, the toilet has noticeably tilted, and, according to the residents, it could collapse into the crawl space at any moment. The walls in the toilet and kitchen are covered with dark mold, paint has peeled off the pipe, and dampness and small insects have appeared in the room.
During this time, the management company changed, but, as the residents claim, the situation has not improved. The family has repeatedly contacted the management company by phone, but after registering their requests, no work has been carried out. Later, the residents tried to leave a written request by visiting the company's office, but found the door closed.
After the family's appeal to the People's Front, representatives of the management company finally visited the site. However, as public activists reported, the management company claimed that they had not received any previous requests from the residents. Nevertheless, after the inspection, no repair work was carried out either.
Due to the inaction of the management company, the People's Front has sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office. Public activists intend to demand not only the elimination of the leak but also the restoration of the bathroom so that the large family can live in safe conditions.
