The authorities announced sufficient fuel supplies in the region.
The government of the Kirov region stated that fuel reserves in the region's oil storage facilities are sufficient, and fuel supplies are being delivered without disruptions. The agency noted that for "Lukoil," nothing has changed regarding supplies — the timelines and volumes remain the same. However, the load on the company's gas stations has increased threefold. Among the reasons are the price hikes at "Dvizhenie" gas stations, which caused some consumers to switch to "Lukoil," as well as a surge in demand: motorists began buying fuel in advance amid information about rising prices and allegedly decreasing supplies. As a result, the average daily volume of fuel at the company's gas stations is consumed within 3–4 hours, and at three gas stations, certain types of fuel ran out by a specific time.
To prevent an artificial shortage, the main fuel companies in the region have introduced temporary restrictions on the volume of gasoline and diesel sales "per person," as well as a ban on filling canisters, the government announced. Today, June 26, at "Lukoil" gas stations, motorists were allowed to fill no more than 30 liters of gasoline into their tanks — the nozzle at the pump was turned off upon reaching this volume.
It was also emphasized that "Lukoil" is increasing fuel supplies to gas stations — more fuel trucks have been deployed. The company "Dvizhenie" expects the arrival of 13,000 tons of fuel, previously purchased on the exchange.
At the same time, the government of the Kirov region has already sent a request to the Federal Antimonopoly Service to check the justification of prices specifically at "Dvizhenie" gas stations. However, the situation remains unstable at other gas stations: at most "Lukoil" gas stations in the city, only diesel fuel is available, and at "Irbis," prices have increased by another 2 rubles over a few days: AI-95 xTrim now costs 82.99 rubles per liter, and AI-92 — 71.99 rubles. Notably, there has been no significant attention from the authorities regarding these changes so far.
For emergency service vehicles, there are no fuel restrictions, and obligations to agricultural producers for fuel supplies for fieldwork are being fulfilled on time and in full.
