According to the agency, up to 48.4 million people will potentially be able to vote remotely, of which 80% already have a confirmed account on the State Services portal, matched with the Voter Registry. This is necessary to register for remote electronic voting (REV) in 32 regions.
According to the Ministry of Digital Development, remote voting will be available in 32 Russian regions. The Kirov region is not included in this list. Among our neighbors, REV will operate in the Arkhangelsk, Kostroma, and Vologda regions, the Republic of Komi, the Republic of Mari El, Perm Krai, and Udmurtia.
Let us remind you that elections for deputies of the State Duma and the regional Legislative Assembly will take place in the Kirov region in September 2026. The elections for the Legislative Assembly are scheduled for September 20, the same day as the elections for the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
