A state of increased readiness has been introduced in the Kirov region.
Governor Alexander Sokolov signed an order to introduce a state of heightened readiness starting from 6 PM on June 23. This is related to flooding and the destruction of sections of roads.
Let us remind you that due to heavy rains, sections of roads in the Verkhnekamsky district were flooded and washed away. The same happened at the 112th kilometer of the Kirov — Kirovo-Chepetsk — Zuevka — Falenki — Udmurtia border road in the Falen district. Traffic there is currently restricted. Meanwhile, forecasters promise more rain.
According to the government, the state of heightened readiness will allow for a quicker mobilization of additional forces and resources to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather.
