According to the Bank of Russia, in May 2026, prices in the Kirov region increased by 0.12%. Annual inflation decreased to 6.17%. This is higher than the national average (5.31%).
In May, services became particularly more expensive. Prices for non-food goods rose moderately, while food products noticeably became cheaper. For comparison: in Russia as a whole, there was also a restrained increase in prices for goods, while services rose at a high pace. This is due to the sustained high demand in this segment, the regulator noted.
