The Prosecutor's Office of the Zuevsky District restored electricity to the apartment of a mother with many children.

      In the Zuevsky district, prosecutors stopped the actions of the management organization that had cut off electricity to a local family's apartment. The inspection was prompted by a complaint from a woman who reported the illegal disconnection of the resource. During the investigation, it was revealed that the utility workers had cut off the electricity supply due to unpaid bills. However, contrary to housing legislation requirements, this was only about the current debt for the supplied resource — that is, the amount that did not reach the threshold allowing for service suspension. Due to the lack of electricity, the woman with three young children was unable to stay in the apartment and temporarily left it. The prosecutor of the Zuevsky district, defending the interests of the large family, submitted a proposal to the head of the management company to eliminate the violations. This was enough: the supervisory authority ensured that the electricity supply in the applicant's home was restored.
