This concerns possible relaxations regarding several quality parameters, including sulfur content and other characteristics. According to preliminary information, the implementation of such measures may take about a month.
The plan may also include additional steps: prioritizing fuel supplies to the domestic market and maximizing the capacity utilization of oil refineries.
Earlier, a number of regions in the country already faced difficulties with fuel supplies. For instance, in Crimea, the sale of gasoline to civilians was suspended on June 21 — fuel is primarily directed to services that ensure the livelihood and safety of the region.
