The Kirov region may be pulled into a "cold pit" for the entire summer.

      According to the Telegram channel "Amateur Meteorology in Kirov," next week the cold over the European part of Russia will intensify. Heat will settle over Europe, and there will also be anomalous warmth over Siberia, while the Kirov region is expected to remain in a zone of lower temperatures between them.

      The reason is a high-altitude cold trough forming over Eastern Europe and western Russia. According to the map of height anomalies, in the central regions of European Russia, the temperature deviation from the norm may reach −7…−9 degrees, and in some places up to −12°C. This circulation, according to meteorologists, will persist with slight fluctuations throughout the summer.

      For the Kirov region, this means cool, damp, and unstable weather with frequent rains, strengthening winds, and a deficit of warmth. Meanwhile, heat and dry weather are expected in Western Europe and Siberia.
