Accompanied by the Deputy Head of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Natalia Cherepanova, a representative of the supervisory agency inspected IK-11 and the section functioning as a correctional center at LIU-12. In IK-11, Legovets examined the living area, dining room, a unit with eased conditions, the punishment isolation cell, meeting rooms, and the duty unit. He checked the organization of food supply, communal and material support. He interviewed the inmates regarding their rights, including labor rights, and held a personal reception. At the section at LIU-12, the deputy prosecutor inspected the utility rooms, living quarters, kitchen, and educational workrooms. The center, as noted by the agency, is equipped with modern technical means of supervision and control, security and fire alarms, and video surveillance systems. During the visit, Legovets spoke with the employer of a woodworking enterprise where inmates are engaged in forced labor, who described the organization of the labor process. A commission reception of inmates also took place, and all who applied were given explanations regarding the legislation.
