      The downpour that began on Thursday morning and continued throughout the day created problems for both pedestrians and car owners. As per tradition, the storm drains in Kirov are unable to handle the rainwater flows, causing the streets, including the central ones, to turn into "full-flowing rivers."

      In particular, eyewitnesses reported to us that the Khlebzavodsky passage has become a "river": the photo shows that the water reaches the hoods of cars passing through it.

      Traditional low-lying areas of Kirov's roads are also flooded: on Vladimirskaya near the botanical garden and at the intersection of Vladimirskaya and Profsoyuznaya. If the downpour does not subside by the evening, Kirov residents who own cars may face problems getting home, as modern vehicles are not designed for "swimming" on the roads.

      As for traffic jams, at the moment, according to the "Yandex. Traffic" service, movement in Kirov is difficult throughout almost the entire city. Traffic jams are observed in traditional places for Kirov: on Lenin Street from Tetra on Spasskaya to Morozovskaya Street, on Profsoyuznaya Street from the old bridge to October Avenue, and in the area of Teteralnaya Square on Vladimirskaya Street heading towards Profsoyuznaya.
