The head of the Gorky Railway, Sergey Dorofeevskiy, noted that the project was implemented in collaboration with the Volga-Vyatka suburban passenger company and the Ministry of Transport of the Kirov region. Thanks to joint efforts, it has been possible to improve transport accessibility between Kirov and its industrial satellite.
"The route is in demand both among local residents and guests of the region," emphasized Dorofeevskiy.
A consistently high passenger flow on the route is observed on weekdays. The trains are most in demand on Friday evenings — on the last working day, 15-20% more passengers travel by electric trains than on other days, the press service of "GZhD" reports.
Let us remind you that from Kirov, electric trains depart daily at 06:21, 18:05, and 19:03, as well as only on weekdays at 05:10 and on Fridays at 14:20 and 16:21.
From Kirovo-Chepetsk, you can leave for the regional center daily at 07:35, 19:05, and 19:53, on weekdays at 06:33, and on Fridays at 15:25 and 17:15.
During the journey, the trains make stops at the stops Soviet and Lugovaya. Thanks to the Soviet stop, residents of the Novovyatsky district of Kirov can reach the railway station without traffic jams. The Lugovaya stop is located just a few meters from the "Sloboda Korchemkino" stop.
