In the past 24 hours, on June 13, five man-made fires and three road traffic accidents were eliminated in the Kirov region. This was reported by the regional emergency management agency.
One of the major fires occurred in the village of Semenikhin in the Slobodsky district. A private residential house caught fire there. The fire destroyed the roof, the attic floor, and an extension, as well as damaged the interior walls of the building over an area of 70 square meters. Thirteen people and six units of equipment participated in the firefighting efforts. According to preliminary reports, the cause of the fire was a malfunction of the heating stove.
Another serious fire occurred in Sosnovka in the Vyatskopolyansky district. The fire started in the garage of a private house. As a result, the roof of the house, the garage, and the canopy burned down, as well as a Changan car. Additionally, a Toyota Camry was damaged, and the windows and wall cladding of a neighboring house were affected. Eleven people and four units of equipment worked at the scene. The preliminary cause is a malfunction of the electrical equipment in the garage.
Furthermore, in Kirov, rescuers discovered the body of a man in the water of the Vyatka River. Currently, investigative measures are being conducted regarding the incident.
