      A ceremony for the awarding of certificates for induction onto the City Honor Board took place at the Kirov administration. This year, 20 residents of the regional center have been honored with this award.

      The Honor Board includes representatives from various professions and fields of activity. Among those recognized this year are specialists in education, healthcare, industry, construction, culture, transportation, and housing and communal services.

      As reported by the city administration, candidates for the Honor Board are nominated by labor collectives. When selecting candidates, professional achievements, work experience, the implementation of new technologies, as well as participation and victories in competitions, contests, and festivals are taken into account.

      The solemn ceremony traditionally takes place on the eve of Russia Day. After the certificates are awarded, photographs of the laureates are displayed on the City Honor Board.
