The introduction of the technical collection on electronics in Russia has been postponed to December 1.
Instead of the planned September 1, the collection will begin to be charged from December 1, 2026. The corresponding changes to the legislation have been prepared by the Ministry of Finance of Russia and sent for consideration to the State Duma.
The decision to postpone the introduction of the technical fee by three months was announced on June 3 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vasily Shpak. According to him, the state will act "precisely, carefully, gradually" when launching the mechanism for collecting the fee.
Recall that in March, the Ministry of Industry and Trade presented a draft regulatory act with the procedure and deadlines for paying the technological fee. The agency emphasizes that the measure is being introduced in stages and is aimed at stimulating the localization of electronics production within the country. At the same time, the maximum amount of the fee per unit of goods will not exceed 5,000 rubles.
The postponement is related to proposals from industry associations. As noted in the Ministry of Finance, the final confirmation of the new dates will occur after the adoption of the bill "On Amendments to the Budget Code of the Russian Federation and Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation," writes the newspaper "Kommersant."
