Sokolov ordered public hearings to be held for each improvement project.

      According to Governor Alexander Sokolov, who held another meeting in the government, voting on the improvement of territories in the Kirov region will end on June 12. In total, 168 projects were presented to the people, 60 of which will be improved in 2027 with federal support.

      So far, more than 110,000 residents of the region have voted. Those wishing to cast their vote can do so until the end of this working week on the "Gosuslugi" website.

      Sokolov instructed the heads of municipalities to hold public hearings for each winning project, to inform people about what exactly will be improved, what will be removed, and what will be built. "Make it not for show, not for five people and at an inconvenient time, but a real public discussion," he said. "So that there are no stories like during the improvement this year, where someone didn't know that something would be cut down, sawed, and broken."
