      As we wrote earlier, today, June 6, the main events of the pilgrimage took place in the village of Velikoretskoe. One of them was the Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the return of the icon of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, which was held on the banks of the Velikaya River. The service was conducted by the Metropolitans of Astana and Kazakhstan, Alexander, and of Vyatka and Slobodskoy, Mark.

      The government reported that 37,000 pilgrims participated in the liturgy. After it, there was communion and a procession to the holy spring. Confession will begin at 4:30 PM on the Velikaya River and will last until late evening.

      On Monday, June 8, the pilgrims will return to Kirov. The Velikoretsky pilgrimage will conclude at 6 PM with a prayer service and akathist to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker at the Holy Assumption Cathedral of the Trifonov Male Monastery.
